💚💛PRIDE Table Talk💛💚
Today, ACMS Raiders were led in a discussion about how our school PRIDE expectations can help students achieve their goals in life. During each grade’s lunch, Mrs. Crawford, Special Education Teacher, 7th Grade Team Teacher, and Army retiree, shared with ACMS students how her dream of becoming a teacher as a little girl led to a successful career in the Army, which she knew would one day help her pay for college to become a teacher. She told students how she saw our current PRIDE expectations woven into every area of her path to success and how to use PRIDE to set goals. PRIDE stands for Present- Respectful- Involved- Determined- Excellence. She reminded students how proud ACMS admin, teachers and staff are of the way Raiders showed up and shined all year. As a reward for making progress toward their goals, all students in attendance were treated to Takis and cookies (their requested favorites) by Mrs. Crawford.
