This change provides an extra day of Spring Break and allows schools to be closed on Good Friday. The School Board recognizes the lack of inclement weather days this year as well as the hard work of our staff and students. This year's Black History Month essay contest, sponsored by the Russell Grove Association, focused on African Americans in the arts. Many of our ACMS students submitted their writing and three students stood out: Naomi Knowles 1st place, Cassidy Jackson 2nd place, and Kiera Royal 3rd place. Students in Ms. Long’s FACS classes made their own play-dough. They had to show their ability to halve a recipe and properly use measuring techniques. Lastly, using the dough, they demonstrated their knowledge of various knife cuts. #ACMSPRIDE #GetUpShowUpShine #FACS
