This past Saturday both the ACMS and ACHS band and choir students participated in the Amelia County 2023 Christmas parade and tree lighting ceremony. We're so proud of our students for understanding the importance of what it means to #GetUpShowUpShine for school every day! 8th grade won again for highest attendance percentage. They were able to enjoy social time during PRIDE while playing BINGO.

ACMS school counselors, Ms. Hays and Ms. LaVecchia, conducted minute meetings over the past couple of days. The minute meeting is a very short meeting with every student in the building. There are no lengthy responses required. These questions are a quick check-in about how they are doing mentally, how safe they feel in school, and a grade check-in. After meeting with the student, the Minute Meeting gives us an idea of what students need to be checked-in on and how we can best support the needs of all students.

🏀We packed the house tonight for our very first home games of the season. 🏀 Our athletes showed a great deal of determination, but unfortunately came up short. As always, our Student Treasures made us proud with their Raider Pride. 💚💛💚💛
